I put these ds18 shallow mounts into a retro sound rtb8 box. The improvement was incredible, I also unhooked the tweeter from the retro sound box. My car is a 32 ford with no room for speakers or a head unit. I love how the Ds18’s sound and they are LOUD with no distortion at full volume.
